Rulings [Paul Ross 9/3/2006] Frost Nova deals no damage to totems.
[Paul Ross 9/3/2006] If you Nova in response to a combat proposal, the proposed attacker never exhausts and that combat step never starts. If you Nova during a combat step (after the attacker has exhausted), it does not "cancel the attack". (And you can strike with a weapon only during the defender window of a combat step.)
