Yes raids require a different deck design. If you want three decks to do a complete clear of Molten Core, then you really need to work on synergy between the decks. The same is true for three decks against Onyxia - but that is a lot easier these days.

    Re: raidin decks

What's the best 3 class combos for raiding Onyxia (customized 5% win deck) and for raiding Molten Core?

I have a Raesa priest deck that is pretty much all healing and ability removal/interruption for Onyxia. I have 3 Debros Cousin-to-Moons and Hidden Enemies thrown in for late game attacks.

personally the three decks i would use is my rouge (can defeat stage 1 onyxia in 5 turns) while my mates warior takes all the agro and the third deck is a priest 4 da healin and between us we sort out the abilities side of things while the warrior kills the whelps and we pretty go foward with that until the warior drop a huge weapon so it can aid my rouge 4 the finish

Never done a raid, but "He Who Has No Life" would practically beat some MC bosses single-handedly no?

My idea for a raid is really an idea I had for a priest deck, but it just didn't work when I couldn't get multiple copies of Donna Calister in play. With 3 players sporting 4 copies of Donna Calister each though Lightwell just becomes a bomb card. Two Donna Calisters with Lightwell can take down an infinite number of attacking Onyxia whelps for example. Sarmoth and Acolyte Demia as well as non-attacking heroes can also combo with Lightwell decently. A warlock with Fel Armor out would regenerate 4 every turn for free. A warlock can also pump out the AoE damage in case the opponent just decides to amass an army till they can punch a hole with abilities so they're a clear choice as the 2nd hero. (Those same two Donnas would only be able to kill 4 whelps every 3 turns on offense for example.)  The 3rd hero should probably just be any hero that can pump out single-target damage.

hate 2 tell ya but the only problem none of the tokens in onyxia or MC have no cost so "he who has no life" doesnt work also none of the token cards can b bounced either. also id rather have a mage for AoE and frost spells 2 stop atttacks but ill let u in on a combo with donna all u need is a lady kath to heal her at tyhe end of ever turn simple!. but overall i like ure ideas and may ave 2 tinker with them myself thanks!

I use my paladin for raiding. I adjust it with taking a bit of armor out and use more heals instead. Works great!

Paladin is the advice I would give to a person who wants to start clearing MC becaus of the KILLER consecration card!

    Moo.

    Re: raidin decks

Synergy between decks is definitely beneficial.

Since my buddies and I typically only raid (no consistent 1-on-1 battles), you begin to look at all cards with a different perspective.

Take, for instance, Killing Spree http://www.wowtcgdb.com/carddetail.aspx?id=664.
Simply have the warrior play this his turn after a Mage plays Frost Nova, and you're all set.
Definitely many other combinations for dealing with MC allies.
